Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) payment is a special type of payment where the transfer of money takes place from one bank to another within Bangladesh on a real time and gross basis. Settlement in real time means the payment is not subjected to any excessive waiting period.  Conceptually, the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) is a highly developed technology that makes possible fund transfers between Banks on real time basis for local currency transactions. The minimum amount for an RTGS payment is Tk100,000.00 (One Lac Only). Bangladesh Bank has launched RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) service in Bangladesh on October 29, 2015. BASIC bank offers RTGS system to our valuable customers.
